Each year come December, family and friends gather in our kitchen for a weekend of large scale baking. Besides all the tasty things that gets made for the christmas tables a themed gingerbread house is made.
Usually we try to make a somewhat scale copy of something we have a connection to, like the local medeival church we got married in. A memory from a family holiday. Or in recent travel banned years something in our home-brew d&d campaign.
